What is inevitable?

What is inevitable?

This is a very dangerous question, but I will attempt to answer, knowing it is inevitable to spark some arguments.

Architects make thousands of decisions. Many of which are inevitable. A solution which satisfies a specific design criteria, be it techinical or aesthetic.

To mark a threshold entering the bathroom area, the inevitable solution was a “loose guage linen curtain with stitches, with simple hanging mechanism”.

above explained:

loose guage: for air movement, light penetration and the right amount of transparency

linen: natural beauty, soft to the touch, easy to wash and iron

Stitches: a human intervention adding complex shadows for poetry

Simple device: metal bar, rings with clips, just enough to securely hang a linen curtain and easy to take down for cleaning.
