entrance hallway = gallery = ever transforming

In architectural planning, corridor as a mere form of providing access to rooms is often a missed opportunity.

At Merri, connecting spaces have functions. Shown here, entrance hallway is an ever-transforming-space for seasonal celebrations. Adhesive sheets, free of charge, picked up at our favorite “Wachusetts Watershed Regional Recycling Center”, were used to create a winterly scene on one side and a selection of colorful wood cut prints were displayed on the other.
